The second month of 2021 will bring back the Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan and the Bounty Contract Week events online on the SWTOR front. While waiting for the next game update 6.2.1, we can hunt some zombies and deliver some cargo in the form of bounties.
February is a short month, the shortest of them all. And BioWare is not going to stuff much into it in terms of returning rotational SWTOR events.
The roster of SWTOR Events for February consists of two of the oldest ones making an appearance, each one for a week and with a week between them.
Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan
The Rakghoul Resurgence event this month will be under the beautiful landscape of Alderaan. Down in the dark tunnels the zombie apocalypses continues to rise and The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) is once again going to be helpless without you in their attempts to stop the plague.
In February the rakghouls will invade Alderaan for a week starting February 9. Any players of level 25 or higher can participate in the activities in the tunnels.
If you are new and have not experienced this event before, you have a ton of things to see, do and achieve! Don’t miss it.
The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Alderaan. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.
T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!
T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

Bounty Contract Week
The bounties system in SWTOR was never fully implemented, not like the one Star Wars Galaxies had anyway. It’s strange how this thought came up to my mind just now after so many years have passed and I had nearly forgotten about the SWG bounty system, which allowed you to place bounties on real players and bounty hunter class players could then hunt them down to get the reward.
Bounty hunting in SWTOR is only permitted during a special designated week during the Bounty Contract event, which returns on almost monthly basis. And has been doing so for many many years.
Of course, if you need some more references to the Mandalorian, you could just play the Bounty Hunter class storyline. There are some bounties to hunt in it as well, but if you play it, don’t do it for the bounties. Do it because it’s a great stand-alone bounty hunter narrative set in the Old Republic era.
Back on topic now. You can hunt down some juicy prizes and rewards in SWTOR between February 23rd and March 2nd 2021 if you are level 15 or higher. The Bounty Contract Week event makes it regular visit to the live servers and to the SWTOR universe.
For a limited time, the Bounty Brokers Association has opened its doors to anyone willing to take on their dangerous contracts, offering an opportunity for both seasoned and rookie hunters to prove their skills and bring crime syndicates and violent gangs to justice!
Each day, you can sign up for one standard Henchman contract and one high profile Kingpin Contract, and each may take you to a separate planet. Complete five standard contracts to unlock Kingpin missions with bigger loot! Head to the fleet now, invite your friends and visit representatives of the Association to get started on your contracts!

Let’s enjoy the little things while we wait for the next game update 6.2.1 to land on the live servers and bring much needed changes to the forgotten by most players Uprisings content and some tweaks to the Amplifiers system.
We also wait to see when and how BioWare will implement the upcoming Guild Conquest changes that were demanded by the community in January after a massive organized actions by large number of players sending tickets with reports of inappropriate behavior by some guilds’ management and leadership – namely exploiting the guild invite/kick commands and offering real-life money in exchange for Conquest points contributions.
