BioWare has revealed the in-game events schedule for SWTOR during the month of December 2022. We have some sort of an update pending for the Anniversary vendor “event”!

During the month of December 2022 BioWare brings back the Pirate Incursion to Dantooine, the Bounty Contract Week returns as well and you will be able to dust off your swoop bikes for some racing on the tracks of Dantooine, Tatooine and Onderon.

Pirate Incursion on Dantooine

There are a lot of achievements both in and out of the event that occurs every couple of months on Dantooine. If you have not participated in it before, head over to Dantooine now and see what troubles you can find. The event is live at this very moment.

If you need help, the Pirate Incursion Event Guide is on your side, ready to lend a helpful hand with advice or a full mission walkthrough, whatever you need.

The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates have staged an all-out attack on the pastoral Republic world. As the Republic scrambles to defend this key territory at the edge of Imperial space, the Empire plans to capitalize on the chaos and deal a major blow to the longtime Republic bastion.

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally

Disappointment for some, pure joy for others, the Ultimate Swoop Rally will attempt once again to take you back in your memories of when you first tried this in KOTOR.

Starting two days after Christmas (ugh, Star Wars doesn’t celebrate this, so not sure why I mention it), you will be able to jump on your swoop bike and race through the tracks on Onderon, Tatooine and Dantooine for credits, reputation and… in case you haven’t finished the story element attached to this event, you will also get to learn bits and pieces about the racing gangs!

Of course, the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally Guide is your first step if you need a refresher of how the event works, what you can do, what you can earn and how!

SWTOR Swoop Rally and new Welcome Window now on PTS

Date: December 27th – January 3rd, 2023 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 20+

In the growing shadow of war, swoop fans across the galaxy descend on Dantooine, Tatooine, and even Onderon for the sport’s biggest spectacle—The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally! They’re packing the stands, eager to take their minds off their troubles and cheer their favorite swoop gangs. The bikers are here to take on dangerous challenge courses, show off their piloting skills, and flaunt their souped-up swoop bikes. The thunder of the engines, the deafening applause from the fans, the wind battering their helmets… there’s no bigger rush for these thrill seekers.

Despite their reputation as wild rebels whose makeshift courses disregard local districting restrictions, swoop gangs aren’t a serious threat to anyone–something all true swoop fans know! They just love adrenaline-pounding speed, sweet jumps, and big explosions, and the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally combines all three in one crowd-pleasing package. The biggest gangs on the circuit — Horizon’s Razor, the Pit Screamers, and the Blatant Beks — are ready to show their fans a great time.

  • Swoop Rally Mounts (regular and gold versions)
  • Swoop Gang Outfits
  • Promotion Droid Mini-pets
  • Various Stronghold Decorations

A Note about the Ten Anniversary “event”

This month it may finally be time to get some interesting updates or news for this vendor and its contents. BioWare left a note that reads:

“This will be updated at the Eleven Year Anniversary date.”

I wonder if we will finally get new items. Or maybe they will tell us how long exactly this vendor will continue to be available on the Fleet. In case you have forgotten or didn’t know, SWTOR celebrates its birthday on December 20th (21st for some, depending on the time zone).

Where is Life Day

The events update article that BioWare published today did not include even a mention of Life Day. We know that Life Day should last for five weeks from the 7.2 Live Stream.

We also know that Life Day is expected to arrive with the launch of 7.2 and will offer new items this season. It’s likely that BioWare did not mention it because they are not ready to reveal the release date for 7.2.

SWTOR Life Day Event

They did leave the Tenth Anniversary vendor segment in the article with that aforementioned note.

I thought about the possibility of 7.2 being delayed to… February. But it’s unlikely. From what we saw on the 7.2 PTS so far, the content seems in decent enough shape and there doesn’t seem to be a reason for another 3 months delay (if they don’t ship it before the Holiday, BioWare’s next update window is usually February).

Note about the Featured image: The image at the very top of this post is from Ruhnuk, the new planet BioWare is introducing with SWTOR 7.2. It’s not directly related to the in-game events, but I wanted something fresh instead of the same old recurring events images.
