BioWare added a few new items to the SWTOR Cartel Market with the release of Game Update 6.3.1. Check out what’s available and how much these new items will cost if you want to purchase them!
SWTOR Update 6.3.1 released on June 29 2021. It is more of a service patch with the two most notable things from it being the Nightlife event and the Double XP event, which both started with the launch of this patch.
I have a brand new SWTOR Nightlife Event 2021 Guide including the new additions to the event vendors as well as the new items you can earn from the Emperor’s Grace machines.
As tradition dictates each new update to SWTOR also comes with a number of new items available exclusively from the in-game store called the Cartel Market.
Here’s what’s new from today’s patch:
Table of contents
Tython Highlander Armor Set
This set costs 1440 Cartel Coins. It includes six pieces (no helmet) of adaptive orange armor shells. There is no level requirements for this set. You can use it on a character of any level and class.
Dark Interrogator Armor Set
This set costs 1650 Cartel Coins. It includes seven pieces (full armor set) of adaptive orange armor shells. There is no level requirements for this set. You can use it on a character of any level and class.
The visor on the helmet changes its color based on the weapon’s color crystal you have equipped. The effect occurs when you enter combat – the visor brightens.
This mount costs 1500 Cartel Coins. It has the ability to increase your movement speed up to 130%, based on your character level and passive pilot skills.
The M-35 Shadow has a special flourish effect – its four turrets (mounted on the lower front center, right below the cockpit) fire when you mount up. Of course, you can also use the dedicated keybind to activate the flourish at any time.
Also the colors of the engine are based on the color crystal you have in your weapon.
To use this mount you need Speeder Piloting 1 skill.
BP-4 Vigilance Blaster Pistol
This pistol is sold for 1100 Cartel Coins. Only classes who can use a Blaster Pistol can wield this weapon. It is an orange shell with mods slots and has no special level restrictions. It also provides the default +60 Tech Power.
Would you be surprised at this point if I tell you that the color of the bolts fired is based on the color crystal you have slotted in the item? That’s something normal for most guns.
BR-4 Vigilance Blaster Rifle
This item costs 1100 Cartel Coins and is only available to players, who have the Blaster Rifle Proficiency passive skill. It has the usual empty mod slots and provides basic +60 Tech Power.
The rifle extends when you draw it out. On the first image it is collapsed and on the second one the barrel is fully extended, ready to fire.
The weapon’s blaster shots change color depending on the color crystal inserted.
SR-4 Vigilance Sniper Rifle
This item costs 1100 Cartel Coins and is only available to players, who have the Sniper Rifle Proficiency passive skill. It has the usual empty mod slots and provides basic +60 Tech Power.
The weapon’s bolts change color depending on the color crystal inserted.
Gravity Anomaly Weapon Tuning
The final item from the SWTOR 6.3.1 Cartel Market batch is a weapon tuning. And a great-looking one at that! It costs 1800 Cartel Coins.
This item adds a small animation effect around your weapon.
These are all seven new Cartel Market Items added to SWTOR with Patch 6.3.1 on June 29 2021.
Note: Please be careful when you purchase Cartel Coins. Their value directly translates to you purchasing something with your hard-earned money.
This overview attempts to help you decide if an item is worth the price, so you don’t have to spend money on something you will not enjoy and use later.
